GHPS, INDIA GATE added yet another feather to its cap wherein it was conferred ISA ACCREDITATION(2020-23), for outstanding development of the International Dimension in the curriculum.
Defeating the challenges of the pandemic, the school undertook 7 Research based Projects, with a wide range of activities, spread over one year, collaborating with schools of FRANCE, AFGHANISTAN, GERMANY, NEPAL, NIGERIA & SRILANKA , forming links with students.
It was a moment of great pride when the school received the trophy &certificate.

The School won the Best Presentation Award in the Inter-School Competition organised by Lung Care Foundation. Presentation on Waste Disposal Management was submitted in January 2019 by our students.


GHPS, India Gate is proud of its student, Esow India's star cyclist and ranked World No 1 and winner of three gold medals in recently concluded Asian Track Championship in Jakarta. He was awarded President's medal at Rashtrapati Bhawan by Hon'ble President of India, Sh.Ram Nath Kovind. Proud moment for GHPS, India Gate and the Cycling Federatin of India.


Super Hero, Bilal Ahmad Dar of our school took part in Asia Cycling championship held at Jakarta, Indonesia. He Bagged 2nd position in Individual pursuit men junior 3Km and 3rd position in Team pursuit men junior 4km.


What a day for Indian Cycling! After dominating in sprinting events, Team India reached the podium in endurance events too. First time in Indian Cycling history, Team India won two medals - one silver and one Bronze in Men Junior Scratch Race and Team Pursuit respectively. Venkappa secured silver in Scratch Race. Of course the hero of the day was Esow who claimed Gold in Keirin event in Men Junior and Trishiya Paul won Bronze in 500m Time Trial.


Principal, Ms. D. K. Dhingra conferred with GURU DRONA AWARD-2018, for her valuable contribution to the field of Education at the Principal's Conclave held at The Metropolitan Hotel on 14 December 2018.

PROUD MOMENT for GHPS, India Gate, Kanishk Dagar of Class X bagged the GOLD MEDAL at the CBSE Boxing Championship (Zonal), under 56 kg weight category, held at Presidium School, Ashok Vihar on 11 October 2018. It is a matter of great pride for the school as he has been selected for the NATIONAL Boxing championship.


Esow Alban, Student of Guru Harkrishan Public School, India Gate, New Delhi, made the school and the Nation proud by creating history at the Junior World Cycling Championship - 2018, held in Switzerland. Esow, the Junior Cyclist, won a SILVER at the World Cycling Championship missing out on the Gold by just 0.017 seconds. It is India's FIRST EVER MEDAL in World Cycling Championship


School Principal, Ms. Davinderjeet Kaur Dhingra participated in a Talk Series on Reinventing Schools at The Lalit, Delhi on 31 July 2018. Educators from Top schools of Delhi brainstormed on the need to reinvent our education system by adding elements of experiential learning, life skills training and co-learning for students and teachers. From Ice Breakers to Brainstorming, Panel Discussion to Energizers, delegates discussed and debated on the challenges and solutions for reinventing schools!! Ms. D.K. Dhingra was also conferred with 'The Inspiring Educators of Delhi' Award.


India's Cycling sensation ESOW, listed Top Ranked Junior Sprint Rider on the latest world ranking of the last UCI ranking list published on 26th July 2018. He also ranked 3rd in the Keirin event while India's team sprint climbs to third place in UCI junior world ranking of track events.

All India School Mathematics Teachers Association has conferred Ms Satinder Kaur with The Best Teacher of the Year 2017 - 18 Award for giving students tangible benefits and sound footing in competitive world .


Principal, Ms D K DHINGRA has been honoured and appreciated by National Mathematics Olympiad 2017-18 with Best School Award for her significant role in motivating participants for excellent performance in the NMO Contest 2017-18.


It was a matter of great pride for nine students of Guru Harkrishan Public School, India Gate to be a part of Indo German School Exchange Programme which started in the month of October 2017. Initially the students hosted the students of Ricarda Huch Gymnasium, Krefeld, Gremany during the first phase of the programme. German students visited our school, attended the classes and visited important places of Delhi to learn about our culture, cuisine and lifestyle. During the second phase of SEP, nine students alongwith school Principal Mrs. D.K. Dhingra and Harinder Kaur(PGT) visited Krefeld from 11 March to 20 March 2018. During their stay with the host families, they appreciated the German culture. They developed an idea about the Education system followed in Germany by attending their classes during the stay. While interacting with German students and spending time with their parents/siblings, the students got first hand information about their lifestyle and mannerisms. The students of both the countries thoroughly enjoyed the enriching, informative and entertaining experience.
It provided the young, curious and motivated minds an opportunity to immerse in each other's cultures. It promoted the reciprocal understanding and interpersonal relationship taking the young students on the path of becoming global citizens.


GHPS, India Gate Conferred with British Council INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD 2017-2020. A year long journey in partnership with schools from USA, UK, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangla Desh bore fruit with the school getting accredited with the prestigious British Council International School Award 2017-2020 for OUTSTANDING DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL DIMENSION IN THE CURRICULUM. The School undertook 7 Research based Projects, with an International Dimension, spread over one year. More than 90 % of the school Students collaborated with their peer groups from beyond the National boundaries to bag this Award and bring laurels to the Institution.


GHPS, India Gate won the SILVER AWARD with a CASH AWARD of 1.5 Lac, in the SWACHH SCHOOL AWARDS - 2017 competition held across schools of Mumbai, Bengaluru and 128 schools from Delhi NCR.

GHPS India gate receives the KAUTILYA Award

GHPS India Gate , has been adjudged as the best school for Innovative Teaching Methodology and conferred with the KAUTILYA Award in a glittering ceremony yesterday in recognition of the unique learning approach adopted by the school Explore, Experiment and Explore- the 3 E,s of learning. The school endeavours to base their educational approach on the motto of the school Vidya Vichari taan paropkari , encouraging the children to reflect upon the knowledge attained and indulge in the walfare of the humanity thus forming a life long learning . The Award was received by the School Principal , Ms D K Dhingra in the august presence of renowned actress and BJP MP, Kiron Kher , Film Director Madhur Bhandarkar , famous singer Monali Thakur and Wrestler Sushil Kumar besides Principals and educationists from over 200 schools.

Respected Chairman Sir gifted him with a bouquet, a souvenir of the Golden Temple and a Deluxe edition of 'Sikh Heritage through Stamps' compiled by S. Ranjit Singh, published by The International Sikh Heritage Centre, and a Bouquet. The august gathering saw the presence of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Sh. Najeeb Jung, Nobel Prize winner Sh. Kailash Satyarthi, Director Education Smt. Padmini Singla and other luminaries.
